CRUISE SHIP WORK EXPERIENCE – VIKING OCEAN CRUISES

Hi everyone! My name is Flip Nikoloski and I was an employee on one of the most prestigious cruise lines – Viking Ocean Cruises!
Since I was 20 years old I wanted to try working on a cruise, but I knew that first of all I am going to need working experience so I found a job abroad, worked a lot, learned a lot, gained the experience that I needed and 2 years later I applied for a cruise job in Kouzon. I was ready to finally start the cruise journey and explore the world. During the process of application, interviews, getting the job, Kouzon was very professional and very helpful.

“ BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO STEP OUT OF OUR FEARS, OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONE. ““ very soon going to join Viking Jupiter and I will finally experience working and living on a cruise ship. I cannot lie, I was also very excited about traveling and visiting new interesting places.

The day arrived, 3 flights and 2 days later I boarded on the beautiful Jupiter. Very soon I started working, started getting trainings and tours around the ship, and started getting used to the environment. The crew was all very positive, professional, and supportive. My workplace was very interesting and challenging at the same time.

Even though I had previous experience working in F&B, there were still a lot of new things to learn and to adapt to. But, I was willing to keep on learning and fit it. I loved how the guests were all happy to be around, working for them was a pleasure, and seeing smiling faces all around me was heartwarming. I learned many new things about the food we serve on board, I learned about the Viking heritage and the Norwegian history that is all around the ship, I visited many interesting places, places that I never thought I would visit, such as Uruguay, Falkland Islands, Santiago, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas and many more.

I find it very relaxing when sleeping while the ship is sailing, I loved seeing the Atlantic ocean shining all around us, I have seen the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets, I was enjoying every second taking a fresh breath and it was so beautiful seeing all the waves splashing over all the time.

The world has a lot to offer, we just have to be brave enough to step out of our fears, out of our comfort zone and we have to be willing to accept challenges and start chasing all our dreams.
