Today, at the training center of Kouzon in Skopje, we opened the first Training Academy for the cruise ship company Royal Caribbean Cruises Line.
With the participation of 22 candidates from 11 different countries (Czech Republic, Belarus, Romania, Ukraine, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania) this is the first out of the 6 planned academies for this year.
Just to remind that ROTC Macedonia is part of the global project of this cruise ship company and a second of this kind in the world (besides the first training center opened in the Philippines) which has the purpose to prepare the future employees for the successful start of the company.
Only the candidates who were selected for the position Water Assistant and who speak at least two languages have the privilege to be part of this Academy.
This instructor of this Academy is the experienced ASMD Mr. Oliver Djalevski .
At the 5 day training, the participants at the Academy will acquire knowledge from various areas related to their job duties onboard the ships of Royal.
We will also have two other instructors at this academy, Mr. Lorenzo Davidou ( Мanager, Restaurant Operation ) and Mr. Gianluca Corneli ( Newbuild Food & Beverage Director ) who will convey their knowledge to the newly hired Water Assistants.
The present candidates at the Academy have started the first day of the training with a great enthusiasm and we expect them to show great results at the final tests.
We present several photos from the first day at the Academy,
