Job Positions
Guest room attendant – 1. Responsible for responding to all guest requests promptly and professionally 2. Responsible for servicing assigned guest rooms in an efficient and timely manner 3. Responsible for keeping supply carts fully stocked, neat and organized at all times 4. Responsible for checking all equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in proper condition 5. Responsible for removing room service tables and trays from guest rooms
Pay rate : 9 $ per hour + tips
Minimum working hours: 35 + overtime
Laundry attendant/House man – 1. Responsible for responding to all guest requests promptly and professionally 2. Responsible for servicing assigned guest rooms in an efficient and timely manner 3. Responsible for loading and unloading all washers and dryers in the laundry area 4. Responsible for operating both pressers to ensure linen is neatly pressed and folded 5. Responsible for cleaning all lint traps in the dryers
Pay rate : 9 $ per hour
Minimum working hours: 35 + overtime
Dishwasher – Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all kitchen and food outlets. 1. Clean all dishware, pots and pans, server trays and glasses thoroughly and place in designated areas. 2. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the dish machine and the 3-compartment sink and all machinery used in conjunction with those areas. 3. Sweep and mop (Employee Cafeteria, locker room and hallway leading to the Employee Cafeteria) 4. Refill toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels in employee restroom. 5. Clean soda fountain and surrounding area 6. Remove all trash from employee bathroom and Employee Cafeteria 7. Sweep and mop Prep Kitchen 8. Sweep and mop walk-ins.

Bell Person – To ensure guest satisfaction and demonstrate superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors. 1. Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. 2. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest’s wins. 3. Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. 4. Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service. 5. Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist. 6. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. 7. Transports guest luggage to the room assigned after registration process is complete.

Housekeeping – To ensure all public areas, including exterior areas are in accordance with Golden Inn standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for responding to all guest requests promptly and professionally 2. Responsible for special projects assigned by management 3. Responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms as assigned by management 4. Responsible for the cleanliness of all restrooms, lobby area, lounge area, restaurant area and back spaces 5. Responsible for organizing and restocking the housekeeping Closets 6. Responsible for the cleanliness of the trash area 7. Responsible for the cleanliness of the fire exit stairs and back of the house areas.
Pay Rate : 9 $ per hour

Hostess – 1. Present a neat, clean-cut appearance in attire appropriate for the season, day or evening, regular ala carte dining, special events, etc. 2. Be courteous, friendly, accommodating to all guests, co-workers and management staff. 3. Be fully knowledgeable as to what is going on throughout the hotels, ie, activities, facilities available, entertainment, dining hours, outlet locations, etc. 4. Insure that you fully understand guests’ questions and make certain that your responses are fully understood. 5. Be familiar with menu offerings of the different food and beverage outlets, as well as the time during which they are available. 6. Greet guests promptly and courteously as soon as they walk in. 7. Understand the order (“rotation”) in which guests should be seated throughout the restaurant.

Food runner – After the meal is prepared, responsible for ensuring that the plate arrives to the customer or designated area. 2. You will be the last of the staff to see the meal before it reaches the customer, so it’s important for them to know what each dish is supposed to look like so nothing is missed. It’s also important that the plates are handled carefully and brought out in a timely manner, to ensure optimal food temperature 3. Assist other restaurant staff members with duties such as clearing and cleaning tables, filling water glasses and refilling drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and customer areas and returning plates to the kitchen. 4. You also might have to deal with customer complaints, please report these to the Manager on Duty. 5. Contribute towards the prep work at the beginning of each shift, such as garnishments & containers for proper flow of delivery of food. 6. Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds, as food runners sometimes have to help busboys carry tubs filled with plates out of the dining area.
