STCW TRAINING – Skopje, Macedonia

With great pride we can say that the Balkan Peninsula is still a place from where many, many future seafarers are being recruited and hired.

Kouzon via the STCW training center of our own is bringing closer all the future crew members needing these necessary certificates.

Why are these STCW certificates important?

Starting from 1st of January 2017, all the seafarers will have to have in possession these certificates due to the obligation that comes out with the new maritime regulations brought in 2010, also known as Manila Amendments.

The STCW training center of Kouzon and Fire Aid from UK has all the licenses and resources to offer and organize professional 5 day training for all the certificates needed related to the new regulations.

These days 12-16th of November, Kouzon is host of a group of 26 new participants from many Balkan countries. The following photographs are from today’s firefighting course at our polygon.  The photos are showing just part of what’s happening and how our seafarers should are handling real fire situation.

The next training is planned to be organizes 5-9th of December.
