Wisconsin Dells.

Location

Wisconsin Dells is a very popular tourist destination, with an estimated five million annual visitors. It is known as the “Waterpark Capital of the World”.  Community events during the summer months include, but are not limited to: Taste of Wisconsin Dells, Dells Riverfest, Wisconsin Dells 4th of July Celebrations, Music Fest, and the Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival.

Type of position

Participants must be open to any of the position listed below. Positions will be assigned upon arrival, based on experience, qualifications, and employer need.

Note: All positions require general cleaning and additional duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

Approximate Hours

30 hours per week

Starting Hourly Wage

All positions earn $7.25 per hour during training. After training is completed, hourly wage changes to:

• Dishwasher $9.00 per hour
• Line Cook $9.00 per hour
• Pizza Cook $7.35 per hour
• Salad Prep $8.00 per hour
• overtime rate/Terms

* 1.5 x wage after 40 hours per week. Overtime hours not available.

Employment period

Start dates: May 12 – June 3

End dates: September 1 – 30

Required employee qualifications

Must have good English skills, be friendly and outgoing. Prior kitchen experience for line cooks is helpful but not required.

Housing

Housing cost is approximately $65 – $150 per person, per week depending on accommodation. Housing deposit also varies depending on location. Spirit will provide housing options with job offer.  Participant is responsible for reserving housing before arrival to ensure availability.  Failure to reserve housing immediately upon acceptance of Job Offer may result in no housing being available.
