This training was very international because we have participants from South Africa, Italy, Russia, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Monte Negro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.

They all received their STCW certificate – which is one of the conditions for employment at many Cruise line companies.
During the course of this week, these candidates passed all stages specified with the international convention on safety at sea “STCW”.
Besides the theoretical part, they had a practical training by practicing their First Aid, Firefighting and Survival at Sea skills.

This training was conducted in collaboration with our partners from the UK.

Due to the increased interest, Kouzon will continue with the next session in the middle of October 2018 for all new hires for Viking, MSC and anyone else interested in gaining these certifications.
